OAJ Call for Proposals: Semester 2021A
The Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre (OAJ) is pleased to announce the Call for Proposals for Semester 2021A (January 1st - June 30th, 2021). The deadline for proposal submissions of Regular Programs and Large Programs is September 15th at 23:59:59 CET. While, the deadline for proposal submissions of Director Discretionary Time is permanently opened.
This call offers the use of T80Cam at the 80cm JAST80 telescope. T80Cam is a panoramic camera with a large-format CCD of 9.2k x 9.2k pixels providing an effective FoV of 2 square degrees (1.4deg x 1.4deg). It hosts a set of 12 narrow, medium and broad band optical filters originally defined to conduct the J-PLUS survey.
The OAJ open time amounts to 308 hours per semester, split in 268 hours for Regular and Large Programs, and the remaining 40 hours for Director Discretionary Time. However, since 140 hours have already been assigned, for 2021A Semester, only 128 hours will be available for the Regular and Large Programs.
