The OAJ has opened the call for proposals of the first semester of 2025 to the astronomical community
The Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre (OAJ) has announced the call for proposals for observing in the first semester of 2025 with T80Cam, the scientific, panoramic camera installed at JAST80. The call corresponds to the Open Time that OAJ offers regularly to the astronomical community as national Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS).
From January to June 2025, OAJ will allocate 70 hours of observation time which will be split into Regular Programs (only the Target of Opportunity observing mode is available) and Director Discretionary Time. Additionally, the Legacy Surveys selected among the proposals received in 2022 will be executed from 2023 to 2027.
The deadline for proposal submissions of Regular Programs is March 15th, while the Director Discretionary Time call is permanently opened.
